In this first part of the article, we are going to show you how to restore Android Phone using Google Backup. Google Backup helps you backup your important files and information to its Gmail account and Google Drive. To restore your Android phone from Google Backup, you must have already backed up the files on the Google Account. Now you have to follow these simple and easy steps to restore the files and data on your Android phone from Google backup.
Step 1. Open Notification Panel
At the first step, you need to open Notification panel by touching and sliding down the top of the screen of your Android phone.
Step 2. Tap on Setting
Now you have to tap on the Settings icon on the display in the step.
Step 3. Scroll down
After tapping on Settings, you are going to scroll down in this step to find the ‘Backup and Reset’ button.
Step 4. Tap on Backup and Reset
As find the ‘ Backup and Reset’ button, you have to click on it so that you can proceed ahead.
Step 5. Check on the Boxes
Now you must see a new screen with some boxes on it as shown in the image below. You have to check on ‘Automatic Restore’ button. This click will make the data restore automatically on the phone. This way you can always restore your android phone from Google backup just in few steps.

Step 3. Tap on Factory Data Reset
Now you have to click on ‘Factory Data Reset’ on the window as shown in the screenshot.
Step 4. Click on Reset Device
You need to click on ‘Reset Phone’ in this step after reading the information on the screen.
Step 5. Tap on Erase Everything.
This is the final step, and you have to tap on the button’ Erase everything’. After that, the phone will be reset to its previous state. You can restore the backed up files now on it and enjoy.

10 ways to open Settings in Windows 10

What is the Settings app in Windows 10?

First, a quick explanation about the Settings app from Windows 10: this app is the modern replacement of the old Control Panel. It does almost the same things, but it was created so that it is easy to use with the mouse and keyboard, as well as with touch input, on tablets and 2-in-1 devices.
Whether you like it or not, let’s see all the ways for starting it:

1. Use the Settings shortcut from the Start Menu

Using the Start Menu is one of the fastest ways to open Settings in Windows 10. Click or tap the Startbutton and then the Settings shortcut, on the left. It looks like a cogwheel.

2. Use Windows + I keys on the keyboard

We are big fans of keyboard shortcuts, and this method is the fastest of all shared in this tutorial: press the Windows + I keys together and the Settings app opens instantly.

3. Use the WinX power user’s menu to open Settings




In the latest versions of Windows 10, you can launch the Settings app from the WinX menu. As the name implies, you press Windows + X on your keyboard, and the WinX menu is shown. To open it, you can also use the mouse and right-click the Start button. In the menu that is shown, click or tap Settings.

4. Use Command Prompt or PowerShell to open Settings



If you love command-line environments, then you will probably like this method: it involves Command Prompt or PowerShell, depending on what you prefer. Open the Command Prompt (cmd.exe), type “start ms-settings:” without the quotation marks and press Enter.
 Alternatively, you can open PowerShell, type the same command and press Enter.
Once you press Enter on your keyboard, Windows 10 immediately launches the Settings app.

5. Use the Run window to open Settings

Another similar method is to use the Run window. To open it, press Windows + R on your keyboard, type the command “ms-settings:” without the quotation marks and click OK or press Enter.

The Settings app is opened instantly.

6. Use search (or Cortana) to open Settings



On the Windows 10 taskbar, use the search box and, inside it, write “settings.” When the search results are loaded, press Enter or click/tap the Settings result.
Alternatively, you can talk to Cortana and say: “Open PC Settings.”

7. Use the Action Center to open Settings



Windows 10 includes a feature called Action Center, a place where you see notifications about the things happening on your device, as well as a section with quick actions that you can take. Open the Action Center with a click or tap on its icon from the Notification Area, at the right end of the taskbar. On the bottom of the Action Center, you see several actions and shortcuts. Click or tap on All settings and the Settings app is opened.

8. Open Settings from File Explorer



File Explorer also gives us a fast way to open the Settings app. Open File Explorer and go to This PC. Expand the Computer tab from the ribbon menu on top, and then click or tap Open Settings.
That will do the trick.

9. Pin the Settings app to the Windows 10 Start Menu or the taskbar

If you use the Settings app a lot, it might be a good idea to pin its shortcut to the Windows 10 taskbar or the Start Menu. To do that, open the Start Menu and locate the Settings shortcut. Then, right-click or tap and hold its icon. A menu is opened. Here, select “Pin to Start” or “More -> Pin to taskbar,” depending on where you want the Settings shortcut placed.
Once you do one of these actions, you can launch the Settings app using a very visible shortcut, either from the Start Menu, or the taskbar.

10. Open Settings from the Control Panel



The last method we found is very cumbersome, but we decided to share it anyway. Open Control Paneland go to “User Accounts -> User Accounts.” Then, click or tap on “Make changes to my account in PC Settings.” This takes you to the “Your info” section from Settings.

Windows 7 Installation Overview

`How To Install Windows 7 – Steps
Step#1 Turn ON your PC and Press ‘F2’ Continuously. There will come up and option to boot through CD/DVD. Select that option. Windows will start loading its files.



Step#2 Now you will get the Windows Setup Window. This is the part to select Language for your windows. Select ‘English’ and click Next. Also there will be a ‘INSTALL NOW’ button. Click on it and proceed to next step.


Step#3 There will be a license agreement. Check on ‘I ACCEPT’ and proceed to NEXT. After that there will be an option to install windows. ‘UPGRADE’ and ‘CUSTOM’. Right now we are installing a clean version so Click on CUSTOM.


Step#4 In this step you will do partitioning of your drive. Be careful, this is the most important part of the Installation. In this you will allocate spaces to your drive. If you want to create a new drive, simply click on a drive and then click ‘NEW’. A new drive will be created.


Step#5 When you have created the drives, Simply Select the drive in which you want to install windows. Click ‘Format’, this will erase all the previous data on you that drive. Click on ‘NEXT’ to proceed.


Step#6 Now you windows will start installing its files. Grab a cup of coffee and wait for a few minutes while it install. During this process don’t plug in or off your device. It might cause interruption and you might loose your data and have to begin the process all over again


Step#7 Now when you files are installed. Your PC will be rebooted and now you will see is a ‘User Settings’ Screen. Simply add your Name and password and proceed to ‘NEXT’


Step#8 In this step you have to activate your windows. Simply look at the back of your Windows CD/DVD cover there will be a PRODUCT KEY. Add this key into your PC and Click ‘NEXT’


Step#9 Now you have Installed you windows. Give the desired information the Windows Step guide will ask, like Time Zone, Update Timing and Your Computers location. There are three types of location. ‘WORK’, ‘PUBLIC’ and ‘HOME’. Select on anyone of the them according to your location. It only add sharing security according to your location

Two common installation issues solved

Before we get down the nitty-gritty of installing the OS, there are a couple of common installation errors. Here's how to fix them.

Something happened

Microsoft has thrown out some useless error messages before, but the ‘Something happened, Something happened’ one has to be one of the worst ever, giving no clue as to what the issue is. Fortunately, the issue can be fixed in one of two ways.

The first option is to change your computer’s Region settings and tell it that you’re in the US. To do this open up the Control Panel from your computer’s Start Menu and select Clock, Language and Region -> Region. Click the Administrative tab, click Change system locale and use the drop-down menu and choose English (United States). Click OK and then OK again to apply the settings.
The second option is that you’re trying to install Windows from a USB flash drive or DVD, but you created the installation media without the proper permissions. To change that, download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool and locate it on your hard disk. Right-click it and select Run as Administrator. Follow the wizard through as before and re-create the installation media. You should now be able to install Windows 10.

Processor not supported

If you get the ‘Processor not supported’ message, it’s because your CPU needs to support Execute Disable Bit. This feature is designed to stop malicious code from running on your computer, by marking some bits of system memory as non-executable; it means that if a virus infects this part of RAM, your processor will refuse to run it.
Practically any processor capable of running Windows 7 or Windows 8 has this hardware feature, so that problem is likely to be that it’s been disabled in your computer’s BIOS. To re-enable this feature you need to restart your computer and go into the BIOS (Delete, F2 and F10 are common keys to enter it, but check your computer’s manual for full instructions). Every BIOS is different, so the exact instructions will differ from computer to computer.
Look for a section on your processor, such as CPU Configuration, which is likely to be in the Advanced section of the BIOS. Make sure that the Execute-Disable Bit is turned on, which may also be called XD or NX. Finally, make sure that you’ve turned on the virtualisation option. Save your settings, reboot your computer and you should now be able to install Windows 10.

Step 1 - Enter your computer's BIOS

You first need to make sure your computer is set to boot from your DVD drive or from USB. Insert your DVD or USB installation disk and restart your PC. You may find that your PC has a special boot override menu, which you can access with a key such as F10; look out for the message while your computer starts. If this is the case, press the key as soon as the message is displayed, then select your DVD drive or USB stick to boot.
If you don't have a boot override menu, you'll need to go into the BIOS or UEFI Setup program, which is where you change some of your computer's more low-level settings. The right key to enter Setup varies from PC to PC, but is usually Delete, F2 or F10, and you'll need to press it almost immediately after you turn your PC on or restart it. If you look carefully, you may see the relevant key displayed onscreen as the computer turns on. Some more modern laptops, such as certain Lenovo models, have a special button to enter the Setup program, which you'll most likely find next to the power switch. Setup menus vary widely in look and layout, but all follow a similar logic, so if you look carefully you'll be able to find all the options we mention in this guide.
